The core idea
Every product has two floors. You deserve to see both.
A "deal" only means something relative to a floor. PriceFloor computes two — and never blurs the line between what was actually seen and what was modeled.
Street Floor Observed
The lowest verified price actually observed for this exact product anywhere at retail — any store, any country, any channel. Not a scraped guess, not a "was $X" fiction: a real price a real buyer could have paid, with the observation on record.

Cost Floor Estimated
The modeled true landed cost of getting this product from any origin worldwide to your door: factory price + freight + duties + fees. Every component is a labeled row — observed, quoted, or estimated — and the formula is always visible. No black box.

That's the whole product. When you can see both floors, junk fees, phantom discounts, and inflated "list prices" have nowhere to hide. Any savings figure we ever show you against the cost floor is labeled Estimated — because a modeled floor is a model, and we say so.
How it works

Most price comparison fails because it compares vaguely similar listings. PriceFloor starts from precise identity and works up.
Pin the exact product
Products are identified at GTIN level (the barcode-level identity), so a floor always refers to one precise item — not a lookalike, a different capacity, or last year's revision. Comparisons are apples-to-apples by construction.
Find both floors
Verified retail sightings set the street floor. For the cost floor, we assemble factory pricing — including real vendor contact data, so quotes are traceable to actual suppliers — plus freight, duties, and fees, line by line.
Label everything
Every number carries its provenance: Observed Quoted Estimated. Missing pieces are shown as missing — flagged "being worked on — may alter the price" — never papered over.
